JBAMDE employs a comprehensive archiving strategy utilizing multiple preservation networks. Multiple archive systems include a primary archive maintained by the journal, secondary archives for backup purposes, institutional archives through university partnerships, national library archives for broad preservation, and commercial archives for additional security. Preservation networks include LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) for decentralized preservation, CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) for managed digital preservation, Portico for digital preservation services, and Internet Archive for public digital archiving.
The journal employs a transparent cost structure for preservation activities. Financial planning includes comprehensive budgeting for setup costs, ongoing operating expenses, and migration costs. The Results section presents findings with statistical analysis results, tables and figures, and supplementary results. Conflict Of Interest Policy
A conflict of interest arises when personal, financial, professional, or other relationships could reasonably be perceived to influence the objectivity, integrity, or perceived integrity of business research, editorial decisions, or publication processes. JBAMDE is committed to identifying and managing such conflicts to maintain the highest standards of academic and professional transparency.
The Editor-in-Chief carries specific disclosure obligations to lead by example in transparency. These include the disclosure of any personal conflicts of interest and institutional conflicts that could arise from their primary affiliations. Financial conflicts must be declared, along with professional conflicts related to their leadership roles in other organizations. Additionally, any management conflicts that could influence the overall direction or specific decisions of the journal must be disclosed.
Editorial Board Members are responsible for disclosing conflicts related to their involvement in the review and advisory process. Our scope encompasses declaring conflicts with specific manuscripts they are asked to review and any personal or professional relationships with the authors of those manuscripts. Institutional affiliation conflicts and research funding conflicts must be stated. Additionally, board members must disclose any business relationship conflicts that could impact their contributions to the journal.

Upon acceptance for publication, authors transfer copyright to GTS Press, the publisher of JBAMDE. This transfer grants the publisher exclusive rights to publish, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative works from the submitted manuscript. The copyright transfer ensures that the publisher can effectively manage and protect the published work while maintaining appropriate quality control and dissemination strategies.
Under the copyright transfer agreement, authors retain significant rights to their work: the right to use their work in teaching, training, and presentations; the right to include their work in theses and dissertations; the right to share pre-print versions on personal or institutional repositories; and the right to use their work in future research with proper citation. These retained rights ensure that authors can continue to benefit from their scholarly contributions.

JBAMDE applies escalating consequences for plagiarism violations based on severity and frequency. A First Offense results in a major revision request and ethics education to help authors understand and correct their mistakes. A Second Offense leads to rejection and a 3-year publication ban to prevent repeated violations. Severe Cases involving extensive plagiarism result in immediate rejection and permanent publication ban. For Published Work with proven plagiarism, retraction and institutional notification are required to maintain the scholarly record. Legal Action may be pursued for copyright infringement where applicable, especially in cases of commercial plagiarism. Professional Sanctions include professional association notification to maintain ethical standards across the academic community.

The primary frequency is quarterly publication with 4 issues annually, published in March, June, September, and December. Online publication occurs immediately upon acceptance, while print publication follows a quarterly compilation schedule.

Articles may be retracted due to honest errors that significantly affect the research findings: methodological errors that invalidate conclusions; calculation errors that change results substantially; data analysis mistakes that lead to incorrect interpretations; and experimental design flaws that compromise the entire study. Honest errors, while serious, are distinguished from misconduct and are handled with understanding while maintaining research integrity.
Retraction may be necessary due to violations of publication ethics: failure to obtain proper ethical approvals; inadequate informed consent procedures; breach of participant confidentiality; and failure to disclose significant conflicts of interest. These violations undermine trust in the research process and may necessitate article removal.

The journal welcomes submissions from diverse author backgrounds including academic faculty, researchers, and graduate students, business practitioners, consultants, and analysts, policy makers and government researchers, authors from any country, and multi-institutional collaborative teams.
